I just built a doll bed that probably cost me money, let alone made a profit.  My eldest granddaughter's best friend asked if I could build a doll bed for an American Girl doll.  She wanted to give it to her little sister for Christmas and since she was paying for it with her own money, I cut her a deal.   She sent me a picture and a few dimensions and here it is.   She and her mom will paint it so I shot a coat of shellac on it since poplar would fuzz.  Man I'm an easy mark.

Great minds think alike! Just this afternoon, I ran across the plans for this and told Mimi it would make a great present for the little girls next door. It would sort of go with the full sized bunk beds I built for them. These will certainly be easier to build than that American Doll boat!!

That American Girl doll thing is an Exspend-O-licious  stuff~!!!  I know, I have grand daughters. Thankfully they are out of the expensive doll phase. Unfortunately I was an easy mark too.

Next however gotta work in my mark-s-manship  Because boys are becoming the thing.

Thankfully, I have a swamp and a shovel.
