July 17, 201510 yr Author Thanks, Larry, the Mom has painted everything I've made for the kids- except the bunk beds. I figured she would do the same. I wasn't especially careful about getting all of the glue out of the corners. Stain/varnish would have rally magnified my lack of fastidiousness.
