My wife had a Dr appt and as luck would have it, it was about a block from Rocklers. Then I remembered a gift card I had tucked away in my wallet. All systems are go. As it turned out, they had a sale going on and I had a gift card for $50. I selected some nice wood and assorted other things. I was smiling as I presented the gift card to pay. The clerk asked if I wanted to use the full amount of the card. Then he said, "are you sure" Kind of a dumb question, then he said there is one whole dollar left on this card.   

 

Excitement and disappointment all at the same time.

One whole dollar! Surely you could have found something for a dollar Ron! A screw?

Funny.  I Really Mis-interpreted the original post.  I thought he was saying that he had the card for a while and thought he had fifty dollars on it and selected items accordingly and when he got to the register, he discovered that he only  had  ONE DOLLAR left on it.  Shows how my mind was thinking about it.  Glad I was wrong minded about it.  Having a dollar left to spend after getting some nice wood, etc is not a big problem.  

The day was not lost, you got to go to Rocklers.

We don't have one here, shoot we don't have much of anything here.
