My Name is Eric, I live in SE Missouri. My woodworking for now is a hobby till I can get to the place where I can use for my retirement. I search all over the net to find free plans, I believe that we should all share what we find or buy, as of now I have not had to buy plans or patterns. Some of you have might have seen that I have already uploaded some patterns under the handle of Eric Thunderbird, I have a lot more that I plan on adding. I have Plans, Patterns, Books and Magazines that I would like to place on here for your enjoyment and use. To the admins if I put something on here that you question due to copyright or anything you have my permission to remove it. I will be putting a list of books and Magazines that I have on my computer if anyone would like copies, once I get them on here just drop me a line.

Glad to have you here! We recently added the "Downloads" section to the site and I have been appointed the "moderator" for that section. Like you, I hate paying for for any plans and patterns and get just about everything I need for free, from the web. 

 

Our site is supported by several businesses thru donations and a small income for purchasing items thru their organizations. Understandably, they are concerned about any copyright infringements that might make reflect back on The Patriot Woodworker. 

 

I know several of the major woodworking publications have "E-zine" newsletters in which they offer free downloads of previously published plans. I will check with the site owners and see if these files are acceptable and get back to you. In the mean time, We'll let everything posted until I get clarification. In addition, I'll always notify you if they feel there is a problem.
