Tonight I began on a dresser for one of my granddaughters

This is some 3/4 birch ply.  I plan on using the ply for the sides, bottom, and false top.  Then maple for the rails, stiles, drawer fronts, top, and skirts. Finally a dark stain to get close to the stain on her todeler bed.  The finger is just for added effect. Lol

That will be very cool Paul. I am sure she will love it.

Looks like you got a great start on the dadoes and rabbets!

Got some more done today even though i had snow to plow and i brought my drum for my sander to my counsins machine shop for a fix.

Case in the clamps.

 

Then i got the face frame made up and clamped it to the case.

Now wait for the glue to dry while i start working on the top.  Hopefully i'll get my drum sander back together soon to sand the top.

Nice clean work Paul, what is the overall style of the dresser going to be? Any fashion ideas for it?
