Just got this installed, though getting it finished was a real exercise in patience. The varnish was slow to cure enough for the sanding routine I used. Anyway, it's a plan that was in woodsmith and I made a mirror to match.

and great job on the mirror also. I love the warm color of the finish.

Yeah, I saw that caulking as a mistake as soon as I did it. Should have got some brown color caulk or put in a piece of molding. Oh, well. This is our basement bath so I guess I won't loose to much sleep over it. I may be able to paint what is up against the wall, but typically when I attempt something like that it gets worse.

Nice work Fred.  Would I be correct bthat it is screwed to the wall on the back apron?

Yes. There's about a 1" gap between the apron and the wall ( on purpose, to allow the legs to clear the base and shoe molding on the floor). So I screwed a cleat to wall that was the right thickness, then screwed the apron to that.

Oh I absolutely love it Fred! We have a bathroom that needs a vanity, and the design you chose is something I have been considering seriously, but for the only change I was wanting to incorporate a slab into it.

That really updated your bathroom big time, great work and it's robust design to last a loooong time.

That's a really good looking vanity, Fred. I really like the open design and that "Farmer's sink".
