Today was a show day for us. Didn't make enough to buy a BMW but did O. K.

Mimi and I went to a local craft show today. No one there had any wooden projects other than some repurposed crafty things like window picture frames and door section wall hangings. Most of the stuff looks like it was knocked out in about half an hour so the prices weren't real high. I can't see how I could compete with pieces that take several hours each and try to stay within typical buyer price range.

Lew, I have been building kites for about 30 years.  There was a lot of traffic but the buying public was "so-so".  Testament to the midwest economy but you'll never get rich doing shows..

I haven't gotten rich doing them, but I really like doing the shows. I guess I like talking to people about as much as selling the things I make.
