July 13, 201015 yr I am working to finish the apples by this weekend. I like five more having them all done. I was about to cut the rest of the blanks out on the bandsaw Saturday and I put on a new 1/2" 4 tooth blade and was starting to tension it and it would go past the 1/4" blade mark. When I turned the tensioning handle it would go that far and drop back down. I am guessing a thread stripped on the rod. Anyway, I called Rigid and they were really nice and the parts are suppose to be on the way. Lifetime warranty came into play. No hassel. But... the parts won't get here until either Friday on early next week.   I am doing my best to cut my blanks with the chain saw and get them close to blanced before I put them on the lathe. Â
July 14, 201015 yr That stinks! Not that it's worth the drive, but you're welcome to use my saw if you like. I am less than an hour from the north side of Huntsville.
