I have a friend that works for Jamestown Coatings, a paint supply company.


 


He has a friend that is a rep for Pratt and Lambert. I was trying to get some P&L #38 and no one around here carries it.


 


So he was telling me his friend the rep says that it is being discontinued that when the current stock is depleted it will not be produced anymore.


 


At this time he didn't say if they might come out with a different version of it that is water based or not. Apparently P&L #38 has too many VOC's for the market today.


 


So if you use it as a varnish and can get any, you might want to stock up as it looks like it will be no more.
