August 28, 201015 yr Larry's ordeal with posting a blog reminded me.We started this forum in April of this year. And we have gone through some growing pains, rough times, good times, name changes, url changes, "upgrades" supposedly and a few other aggravating things and even mistakes made by yours truly, yes, even The American Woodworker is fail-able. I have interjected opinions where maybe a forum host should not, I have slightly chastised a member or two when it could have been handled better, and I even sent out an invitation to join a controversial group that could have fractured our community here on The American Woodworker. The group has since been disbanded based on my consultation with a close confidant and friend. But through all this, you guys have stuck by, and stuck with it. You all have believed in the concept of a "Free Speech Forum" within a woodworking atmosphere. And you all have supported The American Woodworker in more ways then any of you will ever know. In other words, thank you for your support and your trust in this network. We have embarked on a journey from ground zero to heaven who knows where it will take us. But I can tell you all this, The American Woodworker is dedicated to turning this little corner of the cyber world into something we can all be proud of. And we are dedicated to building a robust woodworking community.Thank you fellas, all of you, for sticking with us. We do not take a single member here for granted, if you have problems we need to hear from you, if we loose a member, it hurts. We are not big, you all are not a number to The American Woodworker, you guys have names, homes, families, kids, cars, shops, friends, work, all of it. And every single one of you fellas, are the most important ingredient to this network. Thank you for staying in, and putting up with our fubars as we all learn together what it means to create a woodworking forum. We have come along way in 4 months. Imagine what our landscape will look like in a year. Thank you, for being you, and thank you for your participation in The American Woodworker.John MorrisThe American Woodworker
