September 3, 201015 yr Good Morning Friends, While working in the shop on a piece and someone comes in with a broken drawer and asks if you could take the time to do a repair on the drawer that only had one corner dislodged or separated. Do you stop what you are doing and help him by gluing it back together or do you ask him to just lay it on the table and come back later to pick it up? You migh also tell him/her that you will call them when it is repaired. Ralph
September 3, 201015 yr Hey Ralph, it is something that can be banged back together quickly, or can be fixed by shooting a nail in it, I'll do it right away and tell him or her, to hang out, my pleasure. But if it's something that needs to be glued or more involved like your stating, I'll tell em just like you said, lay it down over there, I'll call you when it's done. Because stopping everything your doing isn't going to get the fix done any sooner, it still has to set up and dry and probably some minor touch ups, so it won't speed up things just because we drop what we are doing.
