September 4, 201015 yr Anyone have any suggestions for a new 1/4 sheet sander that won't dent the hockey sticks out of your project when you accidentally ram it into the corner of your project? My PC 1/4 sheet is a nice sander, the nicest one IMHO but the steel clamps on the side that hold the sheet in place cause damage when I get careless. Is there an anit-careless sander out there? Plastic clamps? More cushion around the pad? Thanks
September 4, 201015 yr Author Table lookin good Steve!!!! And that is reclaimed lumber correct? Thanks for the sander tip.
September 5, 201015 yr Get a mouse sander for the corners and a small porter cable ROS for the rest (drawer insides and tighter places).
September 6, 201015 yr John, I will have to look closer, but I have the Rigid 1/4 sheet sander and the clamps that hold the paper are up on the top and don't stick out on the side. I will give it a closer look to make sure it doesn't do what you were saying. I like Mike suggested use a mouse sander for corners. I have a B&D that I have had for some time. It works great.
