For some reason, I could not get this picture to attach when I answered about my discussion on the hobby horse,  Anyway, I didn't know there was a difference between a hobby horse and a rocking horse. So mine is a rocking horse.  Thanks for the comments on Douglas Fir. The one pictured, I made of Pine 5 years ago and it has taken a lot of abuse. It still looks good.
