Today I started on my granddaughter's rocking horse. After going over the plans, I had to modify many things. I liked the plan real well when I ordered it, but it wasn't until I got them that it was stated that this horse can be ridden with adult supervision only.  So I am going to modify it to make it a "real" rocking horse that can be ridden anytime. 
 The first thing I always do when I start a large project is check my saws for squareness and adjustments on the miters and fences. I learned long ago that this is ALWAYS a must.
 I didn't get much accomplished today, but that is OK. If I only get a small amount done each day, it will get done sooner or later. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH  the beauty of retirement.
