I've built everything from framing a house to a 20,000 sq foot church addition to oak furniture, but thanks to my son I'm building a billboard.  My son is the county Republican chair and with election coming up they wanted some "mobile" exposure for the local candidates and the party.  One of the party faithful has a 6 foot by 8 1/2 foot trailer and I'm building an 8' X 8' A Frame style moving billboard.  Man what we don't do for for kids and our beliefs.

Good cause Ron!!! I can't wait til Nov 2nd! I am taking the day after off, just so I can sit on the couch all day, and watch the political pundits figure out why everyone got thrown out of their respective office. They will spin it, we Americans are ignorant, we are uneducated, and un informed. That is the way the mainstream media will spin it. How out of touch they are.

I think I probably have mentioned this but I'm a huge lover of history books. I'm currently about 2/3 of the way though the book, "Team of Rivals" about Lincoln. Our curent government could do well by old Abe's example. He placed his political adversaries on his cabinet not to keep them under thumb, but to utilize their talents. Can you imagine Sarah Palin as the current Secretary of State?

All that being said, I read the new Gallup poll yesterday that said that if the November turnout is very strong or very weak, conservatives could pick up 100 seats in Congress. Not unlike a turn of events from 1894, I believe. The people are fed up with Washington and thier condescending attitude that they know what is best for the citizenry.
