October 10, 201015 yr Jumbo blanks are 1" x 1" x 5". It really depends on the size of the tube you intend to use. 7mm tubes work well with a blank as little as 5/8" x 5/8". However, I really wouldn't want to try to drill a 37/64" hole in a 5/8" blank. Is pen turning in your future John?
October 10, 201015 yr Author It is Greg! But not in the near future, I have alot of scrap lumber I need to clear out of my shop, and I was thinking about ripping it down to pen blanks and giving it to the guys around here. It would be way more then I could ever use. Greg Coleman said:Jumbo blanks are 1" x 1" x 5".
