Re; Information of a Fleetwood 1958 Terry Camper Trailer

Featured Replies

Good Afternoon Friends,

I have been commissioned to restore a Fleetwood 1958 Teddy Camper Trailer and I am having trouble locasting any information about it since Fleetwood went out of business.

If anyone knows of anyone who might have one or any type of information they might have I would appreciate an email and or plans and pictures.

Hey Ralph, is that a Teddy or Terry Camper? Can you verify that please?

John,

You are right it is indeed a TERRY instead of a Teddy. The body style was TT and the company that made it was Fleetwood but they went bankrupt. I have the title right in front of me. It was made in 1958 and I need blueprints of pictures so I will know how to restore it. It truly is in bad shape but I love challenges.

Hi John,

No that one is longer than the one in my drive for it is only about 14' long. I'll try to take some pictures of it to show what it looks like as well as the condition it is in now and then after I refurbish it I will take picturtes of it when completed.

The first thing I need to do is to figure out how to plug the 22 Cal. bullet holes in the back of the coach.

Sounds like someone made a hasty get away towing a camper. Probably parked in some farmer's pasture.

Ralph,

Coleman campers blought Fleetwood 3 years ago perhaps they would have some archived information for you.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the show and I have been to both of them myself and I finally found a trailer outfit right in Columbus, Ohio that may have just what I need in parts and furniture other than what I can make. I'll let you guys know and see the before and after photos.
