 I am very close to finishing the rocking horse for my granddaughter.  I have to finish the harness and that is it. I had a close call today, my son-in-law showed up with my granddaughter and did not call ahead to warn me. As luck would have it, I had not opened the garage door yet and she didn't see it. Now it is covered with a blanket to avoid any further such problems. I discussed giving it to her before Christmas...........due to the toy overload that kids have now days. My daughter's suggestion was that I give it to her at Thanksgiving and I think I will.  Let her play with it for a month before the mega plastic toys fill the  house.

She will be excited I'm sure Ron. I bet it will be one of her favorites even after the plastic toys show up.

Can't wait myself to see the finished project.
