November 11, 201015 yr comment_52027 Never knew that our daughter read my woodworking magazine until she brought me an issue and said make me this mirror, so I did. After the wife seen it she informed me she wanted one of similar design, but one with a door that could used for a jewelry case to hang necklaces and and other jewelry (waste of money) stuff in. Modified the original plans somewhat and came up with this other one, which I just finished today. I hate looking at end grain, so all of the ends have return pieces to eliminate the end grain, (visible in one of the pics). Both are QSRO and finished with lacquer. Kenny Report
November 11, 201015 yr comment_52030 It's not a waste of money (jewelry) cabinet, it's a "I need a new tool to build this" cabinet!!!!! (get the hint?) Report
November 11, 201015 yr comment_52029 That's a nice pair indeed Kenny. Excellent work and fine craftsmanship. Those are clean lines, good stable color, and perfect grain orientation. I love the quarter sawn. So, besides all that fishing and hunting, you really do get to make some sawdust! Report
November 12, 201015 yr comment_52028 Kenny, those are great!! I love the QSWO. Excellent finish that is so warm and inviting. Great job and thanks for sharing those with the rest of us. As Mike says, Those are good excuses to get more stuff and we all like more stuff. Report
