Our New Home Improvement Moderator!!!!!

Featured Replies

I would like to congratulate Mike Williams (dragon1) for his new position here on The American Woodworker as the new Home Improvement Moderator.

Mike is a "Master Know it All" in the sometimes and often complex realm of Home Improvement. I have personally followed Mike on other forums and this forum for a couple years now and I have come to know Mike as a highly knowledgeable professional in the business. He is a self employed pro in the home remodeling industry and his talents about cover the entire gamete of home building and remodeling. If you have a question about anything under a roof, over a roof, and within a 100 foot radius of a dwelling, Mike will most likely have the answer for you, and if he doesn't (and that rarely happens!) he will know where you can go to find the right answer. Mike is also a great mentor, and just an all around great guy of whom I am proud to have here at Home Improvement.

So, please join us in welcoming and congratulating Mike Williams a.k.a dragon1 as the Home Improvement Moderator!

A few years ago , I became active in the WOOD magazine forum. I used to pick those guys brains a lot as I got into my woodworking. (still do some) Mike was one of those guys whose advise I always got a lot of good things from. I won't have much for him to handle now days in home improvement, I not longer own, I rent. But the rest of you guys, if you want good advise or just his thoughts on something............just ask.

I still do participate in the Wood forum, but not nearly as much. They reorganized and kept messing with their web site until many just dropped out.

Congratulation Mike!!!!
