November 12, 201015 yr Wood working suppliers sell a kit to make a 6 in 1 screwdriver for $9.99 plus shipping. I will admit that I bought a couple. They were fun to turn and came out really well. The other day at Harbor Freight I saw a cheapo version for $2.99. I bought a couple thinking I could melt the bushing out and use it to make my own. Turns out that I didn't even have to melt the bushing out. It popped out on its own. Here is the result. I am not real happy with the maple one. I don't like the butt end. Anyway:
November 12, 201015 yr Hey Greg, those 3 buck drivers look like something you'd buy from Lie Nielsen or Lee Valley now don't they! Yep, you could sale one of those for 20 bucks now! Great job man, those would look fine in any woodworking shop now.
November 12, 201015 yr Nice job on those Greg. That was a good find for that price. You should be able to sell or have them for stocking stuffers for the holidays. What is the darker one, it look a little like Paduk in the picture but sometimes it is hard to tell. I like the shape on the darker one best. It looks a little more traditional.
