I've sold off some of them as bar tops , but there are quite a few left . I'm slabbing more big logs today as a matter of fact !

OK Rob, how about some 8/4, about 40 bdft, slab is great, I love the figure, I am thinking this would make a really cool chair with all those swoopy grains and character. And that color is excellent, how did you get the color on the one pictured, did you splash some minerals on it?

I'm not worried about knots or deep character traits, I can incorporate those into the chair and or cut around it.

Very pretty!!! What did you slab it with?

Robs got tons of fantastic wood.

This bigger stuff is done with an Alaskan Mill . It takes two people to run and is rather slow but cost effective . Hopefully soon I will have access to a 48 inch band mill to do this with . Big slabs like this are very popular and sell pretty well.
