November 27, 201015 yr Hello Folks,Will wonders never cease, for I was in my shop yesterday and a phone call came in from a lady who had a problem and was recommended to contact me of which she did as soon as she left the store. I directed her to my shop and found two pedestal table supports in various stages of damage for her husband fell off a ladder and landed on the table and everything went flying from his misfortune.I helped her bring the objects in and we talked about how I was going to fix them. So during our conversation I found that she was an attorney and needed some different things done to her home that she had acquired for her self and family and me not being bashful I ended up with a new home for RJW America to do some videoing while aiding her with her problems. Also I now have an attorney for RJW America for the many different things we might need down the road in exchange for the work that we will be taping as we go along.I also talked to her about the program that I intend to start training folks who wish to learn different trades for we will be training these folks who gave the better parts of their lives working on assembly lines and never had the chance to learn a trade to fall back on when the company they were working for either went broke or left the country for more profit. This left them without a job and the need to learn a trade of choice of which we are going to be doing at no charge to the trainees. This attorney is going to help me to make RJW America a non profit educational incorporated program so we can work with other tradesmen to help teach these trainees or apprentices as we will address them to entry level skills and then we will refer them to Jobs.Com who are a group of folks who will help place them in jobs through out the country or in our own back yards, so to speak.I and she were both excited of the chance to help each other. Wish us luck in the upcoming future.I called my producer and informed him about the situation and even he got excited about it and also informed me that our introduction taping of RJW America will soon be out on You Tube.Respectfully,Ralph
November 27, 201015 yr Author Hi Richard, Thanks for your reply and yes, God does work in different ways for I feel that he is giving us a helping hand since we are planning the things that we have on our plate. With God all things are possible and I know what he has done for me and it is by his grace that RJW America is going to be a wonderful thing. Look at all of the folks who are willing to learn and put forth an effort to learn a new trade or occupation as well as the benefits they will achieve for them selves and their families. The different trades people who are signing up to help train these folks will also benefit by being able to charge for the hours the trainee is working while learning the various different trades that will be afforded to them. Here are a sample of the different trades who are willing to help in the trining of these folks. Cement contractors, Masons in the laying of brick and stone HVAC contractors Plumbers Construction Contractors both Rough and finish Cabinet makers Furniture makers Electrical Contractors and the list can go on and on for in every trade there are specialties that can be a separate trade in it's self. So far I have nine such contractors who have agreed to help. Now that was for both men and women and we can also include Beauticions, Hair dressers, Taylors and Seamstressers,Domestic helpers and again many many more. The door to eduaction is wide open for all who wish to learn and the best part is it is all FREE TO THEM. Ralph
November 29, 201015 yr Author Hello John, Thank you for your reply and wouldn't it be wonderful if folks in other states would adopt my plan to help those who wish to learn a trade, could go to the different trades and ask to apprentice in order to get some hands on training in the chosen field? This is my plan and by the use of my videos up coming I will be able to show folks how they can help their fellow man and woman in learning a trade. The opportunities are outstanding. People worry about the people in other lands, so why not help our own folks, friends and even neighbors in any way that we can to help them through what might be some troubling times. Ralph
November 29, 201015 yr Ralph, of those who have expressed interest in becoming a student in your program, what kind of age group are they?
November 29, 201015 yr Author Richard, At this moment we have no trainees as yet for I am just forming this group and lining up some trades people who are willing to take the time to help train the folks who choose to take advantage of the program. However we would not turn anyone away who is 18 years and over with a high school education either a diploma or GED. Who I am more interested in are folks who are 40 years and over for these folks are the hardest to find good paying jobs for. They would not be addressed as students but rather trainees or apprentices because, when you address a forty year old person or older as a student they have a tendency to back away from the program. In many cases while they are learning, the trade person can address them as helpers or associates. This way no one would feel slighted or made fun of. My last apprentice out of my shop stayed with me for two years and now he is the foreman of a furniture repair and refurbishing company in Columbus, Ohio and he was 27 years old when he came to me. I hope this will give you some idea of what I am trying to do in the desire to help my fellow man as well as to make videos that will be fun to watch as well as educational. Ralph
