Now that I have my pony and space ship done, I have the grandfather clock back out and have done some work on it. I am  ready to fit the doors and order some hardware. I built my first grandmother clock in 78 and I like the hardware on it. I wrote the company to see if it is still available and have not received a response yet. I went to a specialized hinge web site and was about blown over by the number of specialized hinges and their names. So I had better rethink how the doors fit in relation to the hinges I get. I am going to big box today and look at their cabinet door hinge selection. I never thought something so simple, could be so complex.

Hinges are one of those things I just get more confused the more I look at some of them. Man the choices out there now are pretty amazing.

Glad you are where you can get back to the clock. I know that will be a great project.

Grandfather is back in the "to do later list" I'm on a "build a santa" list now. A simple project, but will take time painting. Picture coming soon.
