December 25, 201015 yr One of our members, John Duck, sent this to me and I got a kick out of it, so I thought I'd share it with all.  A Christmas visit  'Twas the night before ChristmasAnd all through the shop,Not a tool was heard running,Not even a saw.The drill press was silentIts bits put away.I'd wrapped all the giftsFor tomorrow's big day. Then what should appearAmong the stacks of scrap woodBut a fellow in flannel,All decked out in safety gear.I seem to have startledThe plaid-wearing man.He jumped when I asked himIf he needed a hand.He chortled and chuckledAnd told me, "No fear!""I'm just a woodworking elfWho has brought you some beer."Then he quickly turned tailAs his booming voice bellowed,"Merry Christmas to all!Enjoy the lager and ale!"
