Well not really, but I shot a pro taking shots of my last chair. I should be getting the final pics in a couple days. My buddy was over yesterday morning to shoot the chair before I delivered it to its final home. The art center where it was at finally let us take it home a few days ago, and now it is in the new owners home. My wife and I and the kids drove up to the mountains yesterday and dropped it off. Great folks, beautiful mountain cabin home, and the chair now resides next to their fireplace. Perfect setting.

Can't wait to get the final processed pics, I will have a disk with processed photos for a website portfolio, and some pics for printing out to traditional photo paper.

Fantastic chair my friend for I know how many hours and sweating you had and did while working on it. I am happy for you that you found a home for it and I'll bet the owner is too.

I hope your compensation for it was worth all of your labor.

So did you get a professional picture of the chair with the maker sitting in it? Wasn't Sam on the cover of Fine Woodworking sitting in one of his. You need to do that.

 

 

John, that is a beautiful chair and a true work of art.  Yes John, I know the commemorative issue of FW after Sam's passing had him sitting in one of his rockers.
