January 4, 201115 yr Thanks for all the well wishes; I am new to this site and have been (practicing) wood working for a number of years.  One never stops learning so I'll probably ask questions and learn from others that ask questions and from the answers they receive.  My shop is 23x24 and as most shops it is too small, it is amazing how quickly you run out of room after it is built even though you plan what you think you need on paper.   I do build new furniture but I prefer to rebuild old furniture. It is interesting to see how craftsmen put these older pieces together and a challenge to take apart what someone attempted to repair with nails and screws.  Right now I am looking for a plan or some discriptive pictures on how corner cupboards are assembeled since I have never worked on one.   Enough said for now, again thanks for the welcome.
January 4, 201115 yr Roger, I don't have anything on the corner cupboards, but I am betting when Ralph checks this he may have something for you. Â I know exactly what you mean about the shop getting too small. It is like a lot of my clothes, I think they just shrink. Â I have in the shop right now a rocker that is suppose to be over 100 years old. One of the rockers was broken and the other worn down so I am making them new rocker for it. Thankfully they were in no hurry and didn't want it for Christmas. I have the blanks milled and ready to cut out. Hoping to get to that this weekend. Â Â
