January 8, 201115 yr comment_50427 I just spent a few minutes flipping through the photos and I've come to the conclusion that there's a WHOLE lot of talent that reads this site. Don't get the big head though folks! Report
January 8, 201115 yr comment_50432 Yesireeeee! I have noticed that too of course, and to think they post here on our little corner of the woodworking cyber world, is a pretty awesome thing. Thank you to all our members for making this site an interesting place to visit, your projects are beautiful! Report
January 9, 201115 yr comment_50431 It's great to see them in the slide show and on the photo albums, but I wish some of you would post a few in threads and tell us a little about the project. Some awesome projects. Report
January 10, 201115 yr comment_50429 John, a couple of year ago, I was a participating member of the Wood magazine forum. I had a long period when I didn't visit the site. When I did, I discovered they had changed the site and had deleted all photos from their photo albums. That really bummed me out. It takes a lot of time and everything has to be resized to meet their specs. Their site developer was lazy or incompetent. I know what I am talking about, my son-in-law is a very skilled site developer and that was his opinion. Anyway, that is why he created my web site. ronaltier.comIf I knew a slick way to transfer all that data, I would.John Moody said:It's great to see them in the slide show and on the photo albums, but I wish some of you would post a few in threads and tell us a little about the project. Some awesome projects. Report
January 10, 201115 yr comment_50428 Ron, you have posted them in the threads before. I love it that they are being put into their albums, I was just saying I like to see them posted also in the message like these or when you did the rocking horse. It just gives us a chance to really see it and brag on it. I don't know of a way to just transfer from your site to here, but I do like your site. I did check it out. I know what you mean about loosing them. I lost some also. Maybe that won't happen here. Ron Altier said:John, a couple of year ago, I was a participating member of the Wood magazine forum. I had a long period when I didn't visit the site.
