Hi all,

new here on the forum. found it on the ShopSmith forum. i've been woodworking and building model airplanes for over fifty years. i'm still not that old but i have a great many more projects to start now than a long time ago!!

take care, bill

Bill, we are glad to have you aboard!

So, what kind of model airplanes? Wood, plastic? As my daughter is reading over my shoulders as I type this, she said, "Isn't obvious, he builds Wood Airplanes!" Well I had to ask Bill, you never know.

Looking forward to some pics of your projects, I saw the entourage of projects on your table saw, your a cooks dream man! I love that bowl too.

See ya on the forum and thanks Bill for being here.

Welcome, welcome.  Glad to have you here!

Welcome Bill. We look forward to seeing some of your work. Please post some pictures in the forums as you are working on projects.

thanks for the great welcome....

they're mostly wood. i started in control line like a bunch of other folks did, and then got my first R/C radio and plane about 1979. flew mostly wood during that time and towards a cool down period, i started experimenting with cardboard and coraplast, like the stuff campaign signs are made of. , my kids and i raced the Q500 class, which these days is way to fast for my relfexes. i've also built a lot of indoor and outdoor freeflight. the gliders are my favorite because it is such a pure type of building and flying.  www.rcuniverse.com and www.rcgroups.com has a bunch of videos for all the interests

and woodworking is my first love........
