January 29, 201115 yr Author comment_49927 Cherry wood with Blond shellac. The back is recessed 3/4 of an inch and hangs on a french cleat. There are 5 long 6" screws on the back that hold the face frame in place. Remove the screws to gain access to the inside. Report
