February 4, 201115 yr I would like to bounce some things off you guy.  as you know I started a program  to get our reclaimed  to the final customer as effective as I can.  what we are doing is providing lumber,  all the marketing,  even taking back all the scraps and dust.  in exchange  the final sell price is split 50/50  I am looking into providing finish in addition to all the lumber.  I cannot put anymore money into the deal, but I would like to make it easier on these guys.  I considered supplying access to large equipt that does not  get used that much such as a table top sander?   lend me your thoughtsthanks MichaelÂ
February 4, 201115 yr Michael,I just wish I was closer to you guys and take part in this program. The hardest part of getting any new venture off the ground is effective marketing. Not knowing your area, I am not sure what would be most cost-effective in your area. But as a new, small-business owner I know you can pour a ton of money into advertising and not get much in return. How many people do you have participating in your program? Have you talked to those people and see what they are having trouble with?Sorry, couldn't be a more help.
February 5, 201115 yr notify all carpenters, cabinetmakers, Interior DESIGNERS, Contractors, architects, union woodworkers and make sure you put the prices of NEW next to YOUR prices.
