* New Vallorbe Patternmaker's Rasps *

Vallorbe is an industrial region in Switzerland famous for iron foundries and tool production since the 16th century.  Vallorbe's new range of woodworking rasps and rifflers is designed to bridge the gap between crude machine made rasps and the best hand stitched rasps by Auriou in France. Vallorbe rasps are machine made, but superior in quality and cut to any other machine made rasp available.

We are pleased to now offer the Vallorbe equivalents to the Nicholson #49 and #50 rasps.  For more information, visit: http://www.lie-nielsen.com/catalog.php?grp=1513.  If you prefer the highest level of quality, we also offer hand stitched Auriou rasps at: http://www.lie-nielsen.com/catalog.php?cat=543.
