Zero Clearance Sled for a Table saw

Featured Replies

Good Morning Friends,

Here following is a table saw sled you might wish to make for your saw and have very accurate cuts every time.

This could be a very valuable tool or jig when accuracy counts.

Very nice jig Ralph, Thanks for sharing and providing such a nice drawing.

Ralph...........the only change.......or additiion to your jig that I would suggest would be to laminate 4 or 5 pcs of 1/4" stock for the backbone of the jig. That way you are assured that it will not warp in time and the jig table would stay flat. And maybe even attach a block on top just over the saw kerf to have the added assurance that your fingers are far enough away from that spin'n blade.

That's what I did with my cross cut sled, and its still dead flat after 10 or more yrs.

Hey Guys,

I have to admit that it is not my jig but, one I borrowed out of the WOOD Magazine. However that is not to say I won't build one to go along with my 45º sled.

I may have to make this one now that I have my new T/S. This drawing makes it look simple to make.

Thanks

Harry
