February 28, 201115 yr Do we ever get to a point in our woodworking that we don't make thoughtless mistakes? I think not. You see the two big drawers on the end and the 3 drawers still stacked up in the middle on the picture? When I was cutting drawer parts I cut all my drawer side at once and make them all the same depth. The big drawers have rack and pinion hardware and I forgot the the drawer depth on those are supposed to be 1 1/4 inch less that the rest of the drawers. Actually there are 3 of the big drawers but I caught the mistake before gluing up the 3rd one.  The three drawers in the middle that are still not glued up are awaiting for me to cut drawer bottom of the correct size.  If you haven't looked there is a related post to this drawer making project at the link below. http://www.theamericanwoodworker.com/forum/topics/making-my-drawers-kind-of-long
February 28, 201115 yr I have done the same thing and wonder where my mind is sometimes. Oh well at least you caught it before you glued them all up. Have to find something positive.
