  The owner of the pole barn my shop is located in, has a LARGE stack of  2x8s sitting in his loft in the barn.      All have been stickered to finish drying.     Looks like either Ash, of Oak, from some beams from a nearby barn.    Time to get on VERY GOOD TERMS with him?     What to do, what to do.....


 


 


 


 Yep, I'll try to get some pictures this weekend.....

A 12 pack of his favorite beverage, fix something on his home that he's neglected for years, a stuck door, a broken window?


And once you procure some of that wonderful lumber, make him something small, a wall shelf etc. A little goes along way. Folks are generally nice, I bet he'd be glad to make a new friend too. We can never have too many friends.
