March 7, 201115 yr Here is a really cool breakdown of the machine, a quick tutorial, and a really neat idea for a cabinet to set it on.Performax 16/32 Drum Sander
March 7, 201115 yr I like that cabinet and infeed/outfeed extension. Mine has the optional roller stand and the factor optional infeed/outfeed extensions. If mine didn't have those, I would sure be looking to put that type cabinet under it. Who knows, I might anyway. Â
March 7, 201115 yr Author I think I will John, I have the in and out feeds too, but a nice wood cabinet with drawers sure would nice, a place to put the sanding rolls, sander tools, manual etc.
March 8, 201115 yr Good article. Thanks for posting! Mine came with the stand as well and I plan on getting the auxillary tables. This sander is great and does an excellant job on end grain.
March 18, 201115 yr Excellent write-up.   One other thing that should be mentioned; do not try to sand pine or any piece of wood that contains a knot.  It will rapidly place a buildup of pitch on the sanding belt and scortch your wood which you may not see until the board starts to come out from under the drum.
