Working a curve into my rocker, and video test.

Sometimes you need to put away the power, and get back to the basics. I love the sound of tool and wood. Here I am fairing the transition from my leg to seat joints on my rocker.Nothing takes the lumps out like a good file.

Actually, this post is also more of a test for video making, this is the first video I have uploaded to my Youtube, now I know what to do, there will be more to come. Some "How To's".

Testing testing testing 123. Yep it works!

Cool John. The vid is great, I can even here you blowing.Grin.gif Thanks for posting.

What you using for a camera?

At this point, just a simple little digital camera, a casio Exlim. Most digital cameras have a video recorder these days. Pretty cool huh?

Cool yes. I don't know if I ever said before but I've been doing the same thing (digital camera).

How long did it take to upload to YouTube?

About 3 minutes Rich, and pretty straight forward. Very use friendly. Technology is passing me up, I need to get back on the crazy train and read up on this stuff.

Wow, 3 minutes. Those short videos I made took around 45 minutes to upload to Photo Bucket. Next time I'll have to try YouTube.

One thing about it John.  Moulding by hand gives you ultimate control.  Wood putty wouldn't do that rocker justice.  Great video.

Very nice on the video...couldn't help it but.... I was considerably distracted by the FINGER placement of your left hand.   24.gif

That is on my list...!!!!! One of these days build a rocker.

So true Ron, power tools just don't work here. Thanks for the compliment on the video short.

It was really easy Rich, I just drag and dropped the video file in the YouTube box, and they did the rest. It was much easier then I anticipated for sure. So, should you and I go in to production now?113.gif
