Another New Old Guy---Dan the Younger

Featured Replies

Please forgive the inside comment in the subject line, but several of the newcomers know each other from other sites, O'WAMMO's, and history.  Dan Wyatt is the older, and I, Dan Coleman, am the younger.  I reside in Oakville, MO on the south end of St. Louis County.  I also taught Industrial Arts for a little over 10 years after graduating from SMSU (Springfield, MO) in 1975.  I spent 3 years teaching welding and 20 years as a QC and Welding Inspector for a local electric utility.  Since my retirement in 2008 my main interests have been older power tools.  For me the saying, "They don't make them like used to" rings true.  I make a few small projects and do a little turning.  I am the defacto tool mechanic for our Woodworkers"s Guild and usually give a tool maintenance presentation every year or two.  I am pretty active with OWWM.org and O'WAMMO'S and periodicly active on a couple other sites as "Clouseau".  I have been to "The American Woodworker" site a few times in the past through links for other sites.  My thanks to all of the founders and volunteers for their efforts.

Great to have you here Dan the Younger! I know you also form the owwm site. Great that you are here and please , don't be bashful. bob
