I've been thinking about coming back for some time and today I got a call from John Moody that made it official.  I've been pretty busy as usual and started doing power carving not too long ago which I love.  I'm also working on a deal to install solar panels on my property that will provide a little extra income if that goes through, plus grass season is upon us so that's gonna keep me pretty busy as well.  Not to mention that the adoption saga is still on going and we're hoping that we'll get it all wrapped up within the next couple of months.  I'll try to stop by from time to time and see what everyone's up to and update anything I'm able to work on.  God Bless.

Welcome back Joshua.  I stopped by the rest areas at Chattanooga a couple months ago hoping I would catch you.  Maybe next time.  I hope everything works out for you and you family.

Joshua, glad you are back. I was trying to answer last night from my phone and this line kept jumping up where I was typing so I just decided to wait until today. I hope all moves along better on the adoption. I know you all have been at it for a while. We will be praying for this to move at a better pace. So how is the young man in the photo doing? It has been a while since we saw a picture of him. I love his carharts.

 

We look forward to seeing some of the new power carvings when you can. I know you are busy, so keep the things at home first and post when you can.

Those are looking great! Sometimes a turned bowl can look, well, a little too turned if you know what I mean. It's round, very round, perfectly round, your carved bowls beg to be touched, and gone over. I like them. They look like relics, or great archeological finds. I think you've stumbled into something good Joshua. Do have a mind to add texture to the bowls, a little chip carving, dimples, punches?

Josh, man those are looking good. What did you say the name of the blade was you are using?
