The first image shows the toilets, cabinet sinks and the Main Bath tub. The sink bowls and toilet bowls were turned on my metal lathe.  Note both bath lower cabinets are different.

This image shows the Master bathroom with the Whirlpool tub (made from 1/16" balsa wood strip) and the hanging linen cabinet.  All this is attached to the Master Bedroom closet.  The shower is also visible.

The next two images show the start of the Master Bedroom attached to the Closet and bathroom.  They are now set on the re-sized plans for assembly.

Tomorrow, we'll see the start of the Main Bath and the completion of the Master Bedroom.  The project is now in full swing!  Stay tuned..

This is really cool. Love the cabinet on the wall. Looks like one I make. Larry, I would love to see pictures of the "bowl" turnings on the metal lathe. Would love to know and see how you made all these parts and pieces. Great job. bob

Thanks again, Bob..

I don't have any images of the bowls being made.

The sink bowls were made from square wood stock on my metal lathe using a spade drill with rounded corners, then the block was glued to the underside of the cabinet tops that had the same size holes in them.

The tiolet bowls were made from round stock, cutoff and glued the the balsa wood toilet bases.

Afterr the Model Home Project is completely posted, I'll start posting the Model Shop.  Then you will really see some details.

Thanks Larry. I thought you might have used real porcelain bowls, hehehe.

Look forward to seeing the model shop. This is just something to see. Really great that you are showing us this. Hope people understand that you can't find content like this on many other forums. bob

Hi Larry,

Having seen you work in the scale size before I never tire of your next step in your models for I know how tedious it can be at times and making those real life accessories is outstanding such as the commodes and bath tubs. Great pieces of work and patience.

I can hardly wait for your next addition especially in the kitchen.

Thanks for the kind words..

The kitchen is really nice, because it's so big.  And the Laundry Room is a surprise..

Hey, I wonder if I could get you to do a lifesized drawing on the floor so I can just throw walls up?

I HATE reading blueprints cause the ones I get are NEVER right!!!

VIF= Verify in Feild= where's the Fucking Architect? He screwed up AGAIN!!!

Your look so darn easy, it's making me Jealous!!!

Well, Mike..  I really know what you mean.  One of the postions I held when I worked was Senior Tool Designer. I spent a lot of time ensuring that my design drawings were correct.  VIF is a real copout.  It's also knwn as "As built."  Then, after construction, the design drawing are corrected.  Why even have them at all?

Hey Mike,

That is what a good layout man is for but, first you have to teach the rough framing crew how to read his layout.

Back in the 60s I was getting $25 per hour for doing nothing but layout. So I must have been doing my job right.
