April 6, 201115 yr comment_47587 I found this on Youtube, I thought pretty neat to watch. Although it cuts up to 24" I still failed to see how this is accomplished, but it looks like a great work horse for dimensioned lumber mills. They also claim sub mm accuracy. Report
April 7, 201115 yr comment_47590 Did you see the blade on that mamma jamma?? When it turns the blade flat, it will cut 12 inches deep into the right side of the log, then you move it to the left side of the log and make the same cut. Of course you need a log that big and you need to cut off the extra but you could do it. Kinda like resawing a board 4 inches wide on the tablesaw with a 2 inch height by cutting one side then cutting the other. April 7, 201115 yr comment_47588 I'm looking into a bandsaw mill. Makes slabs WAY easier but the Turbo saw would make quarter sawing easier. Report
