Hi, my name is Jeff clow from the Atlanta suburbs. Dan Wyatt told me about the site, so I checked it out & decided to join. Dan should be getting a commission for his referrals!

I tinker with woodworking & metalworking & can turn out some decent stuff if I put my mind to it. I am a hobbiest & always learn something new whenever I take on a new project.

 

The machines I currently have working in my shop are:

'66 Delta Unisaw

'58 Delta 14" bandsaw

'54 Walker-Turner 20" drill press

'54 Delta 8" jointer

'73 Delta/Rockwell 11" lathe (bought new)

Grizzley belt/disc sander

Kuster drum sander

Duro overarm router

 

Machines not working and/or being restored:

Walker-Turner 16" bandsaw (early 40's?)

'54 Delta Unisaw

'56 Delta 8" jointer

'58 Delta wood/metal 14" bandsaw

Walker-Turner light duty shaper

Yates American spindle sander

Circa 1905 Hall & Brown 12" jointer

Makita finish planer

 

I need to quit buying machines....I'm running out of room to work on actual projects!

HiJeff, you sure got it right with Dan. If referrals were worth much, he could buy us all a trip to OWAMMOS.

 

How do you like your duro router? I just used mine on a bunch of table pedestals to rout the flats and dovetail slots. Made a simple 2 sided box to hold them and a plywood fence to run against. Worked slick a frog's hair split four ways.

As mentioned Jeff is another friend of mine from GA. Hes is also on our OWAMMO's Steering Committee and does a lot of work to help us put it on.........again thanks Jeff and we will see you in a few weeks. 

Jeff is putting a slide show and video work together for the OWAMMO's Gathering in a few weeks and I am looking forward to seeing it..........

Welcome from another newbie.  I agree, you have too many machines.  Since you have an extra 8" jointer, you can just send it my way so you have extra room.  I'll take good care of it.
