April 11, 201115 yr  Today's images will show some more small stuff and another wall.  The first image shows my portable vacuum cleaner on wheels. A very old Craftsman, about 1955, that still works very good.  The second image shows (wrong position) my 4 foot square assembly table. I covered it with red felt to allow some contrast when assembling smaller items.  The third one shows my Router table. The top is made from a Formica sink drop-out. Usually free at the better Cabinet Shops. Wouldn't ya know, I have plans for the Router table too! Balsa wood blocks here..   The fourth image shows the East wall with the entry door and my wonderful stereo system's drivers mounted on the wall.     The last image shows the overll view of the Model Shop's progress so far.   Tomorrow. we'll have a look at (Coudln't wait!) the second major feature of the Model Shop Project. My Tablesaw!  A side note. There were no comments about yesterday's images. Am I going too fast? Should I stop? Posting some kind of comments assures me that there is continuing interest in the project from a woodworker's standpoint..  Larry
April 11, 201115 yr We are watching Larry! Don't stop, it is a lot to absorb, but that's fine, folks will come around comment. The weekends are usually pretty slow around here, specially nowadays. It's looking awesome Larry.
April 11, 201115 yr Thanks John..Let me clarify.. I'm definitely NOT looking for atta boys here. Too old for that. Just trying to show some "woodworking" options to those who might want to try a Modelling project. Not real hard, but ya gotta have some patience.I have learned a lot about planning and doing a modelling project and will help anyone with some specific things you need to know and do before starting.Larry
