I have a Delta 22-560 portable planer that has the head lock and works very well.  I designed and built a planer table that has large infeed and outfeed tables. 


The over-all length of the table is 6 feet.  The infeed and outfeed table sizes all but eliminate snipe


Plans for it will be posted over on the "Plans and Software" Forum.

Here's another view in it's place in the Model Shop.  That board above it holds all my jigs on peg hooks.
