Used Band saw, Chop saw needed

Featured Replies

Hi guys and ladies.

I am looking for a used chop saw or band saw that will cut both metal and wood but especially wood.

I do not have a lot of space for tools etc, so the smaller the better, but it must be able to cut at least 1 inch stock preferably 2" Heck I would even consider a decent Jigsaw if someone had one reasonably priced.

Thanks for reading

Have a great night and be safe please.

Charles, it may help if you put a location of where you are. That will help people who are close to you. Have you checked craigslist locally or even put a "wanted ad on it? I have found a lot of tools like that over the years. bob

Charles, I purchased a nice drum sander I found on craigs list. Called the seller and made arrangements to see it work before I purchased. Worked out great.

I've bought tons of stuff on craigslist.  Most of the problems are on the sellers end of people not showing up.

Craftsman made a bandsaw that has a gear reduction to allow you to change blades and go to a slower speed with a metal cutting blade.
