Featured Replies

Well all be a monkeys you know what, Mr John Snyder is our honorary 300th member here on The American Woodworker! I wish we had a door prize for you John, so you'll have to take a rain check for now.

Thank you John Snyder for coming aboard, and thank you for coming over to check us out.

Well it looks like my friend John Snyder won again........ ho ho. The only thing is that John Morris has made a mistake in that John Snyder doesn't run the Old Woodworking Machinery Site better known as http://www.owwm.org I would imagine he will be along before long and change the error.

Anyhoos John we are sure glad you joined up and when you get the time please make a post on this site about your 2011 SW WA State OWWM/OMWM Gathering.

John Dillen on the site also lives in Battle Ground, WA where you do and there are several others in the NW that just may be interested in your shin-dig.

Thanks and take care my friend ~ Dan

Glad to help get you there

Mr Morris , give this man a wooden nickel.  Welcome aboard John!!

Welcome aboard John and congratulations on being our 300th member.

I guess we can at least give you the two thumbs up!!

John Morris has fixed the error in his original post, but I see where the small error was made late last night when John Morris mentioned that John Snyder "ran the OWWM site" and I mentioned that he didn't run the site as when John Snyder posted his profile he mentioned the following:

John Snyder said in his profile:

Please describe your main woodworking interests.

"Repair, restoration,
and running OWWM
- an occasional woodworking project.........."

Repair, restoration and running OWWM - an occasional woodworking project!

I believe when John Snyder said "running OWWM" that he intended the abreviation OWWM as meaning the actual operation of making sawdust with (old wood working machinery), but I could be wrong..........I have been wrong so many times in my life that 1 more won't hurt my record......

Thanks again ~ Dan
