Thank you Members for your Purchases

Featured Replies

The last couple weeks we had some purchases made through our affiliates Woodcraft and Highland Woodworking Tools. I would like to thank those members who have entered Woodcraft and Highland Woodworking Tools through our site, and completed your transactions. We gain a 5 percent commission from all vendors on this site from purchases made through us, and we use those commissions to pay our site dues and donate to our favorite outfit, The Wounded Warrior Project. We, I, receive zero monies, all funds are used to keep our site live and help our troops!

Thank you once again!

John Morris

I'll keep that in mind John we need to support good folks like you and TAW

I had almost completed and order at Woodcraft 2 days ago when I remembered the link here. I do so hope you get credit for that order. It wasn't much a little over $100 but every little bit helps. Funny I got the package today and the e mail of shipping today too. Now that is good service.

Best Wishes

Wayne

Thanks guys! And thanks Wayne, yep we got our 5 percent! Thank you so much for thinking of us and using our affiliates.

Every bit helps my friend. And thanks Jim, next time you need to make a purchase, most definitely think of us.

Cheers

Somewhere You told us how this works.  I have forgotten.  Will you give me and others how to make this work for the American Woodworker?

Thank You

When you are going to make an online purchase, instead of just going to their web site, come to this site and click on their link here which will take you to their site. By entering their site from this one, they will know and give TAW the 5% commission.

There is also a link at the top of the page that says, "Support TAW". When you move the mouse over it a drop down box will show up and it will say "our affiliates". It will then give you a list of all the affiliates that give us the 5% for the purchase. If you click on anyone of the links it will take you to their site. Again, if you then make the purchase, TAW will receive the commission.

Thanks for asking!

Thank you John! And lets not forget that the proceeds go to support our wonderful site and to provide donations to The Wounded Warrior Project. We are a 100 percent non profit website, I make absolutely nothing from this site, I receive zero monies, all funds generated through our site, are used to pay our monthly hosting dues, and to give to The Wounded Warrior Project. If anyone is feeling a little flush today or any day, you can donate to our site directly to support The American Woodworker at Support Our Community. And you can donate to The Wounded Warrior Project by clicking on the link I just gave you. All proceeds donated to The Wounded Warrior Project, go directly to them, we do not handle the Wounded Warrior donations transactions.

And a definite big THANK YOU for asking!

I wish I had known that when I bought my router table, but from now on I'll come here first for online purchases. Thanks John!

Your not alone John, I am trying to figure out a way to let folks know this without being too intrusive and sounding like a greedy money machine. Every now and then, when I get an opportunity to let folks know, like myself and John Moody did in this post, I jump on it, but I have never really put out a big sign that says "SHOP HERE!". I guess I don't want to scare folks away. A lot of folks are still having a hard time understanding why a guy would start a website if there is no monetary gain for him or her. It's just too good to be true, or it's a scam, or the guy is hiding something, he really is raking in the dough somewhere around here off of us. Non of that is true. I, John Morris, creator of this fantastic website, make zero monies or benefits from this website, I receive absolutely nothing, no body sends me perks, no tools, no lumber, no money, any money we do get goes directly to the server of our site for hosting dues, and The Wounded Warrior Project. On a side note, since I created this site a year ago, we have had about 80 bucks in donations and collected about 130 bucks in sales commissions, if the money is going in any direction at all, it's leaving my pocket to support this cool place.  The only benefit I personally receive from this site, is the satisfaction of knowing that we have made a difference in a soldiers life, and I get to hang out with some fantastic folks doing what we love, woodworking. It don't get much better then that my man!
