Picture of Cubbies

Featured Replies

OK guys, nothing earthing shattering here. This is just some of the ''stuff" I do at my day job. Cubbies, we do lots of cubbies. The kids use them for shoes and ''stuff''. Seeing how we use tax payers money we don't get fancy or use nice wood. Mostly AB plywood painted white.

ning-cubbies-46454-7.jpg?width=750We also make a lot of TV enclosures, not sure what the tax payers think about these.

The shop is not really that big when you consider we have about 20 guy working out of it. We have carpenters, plumbers, electricians, heat and vent, and one supervisor and two lead people who just get in the way.

Question...you say paint them white. Are you using latex paint or a toned acrylic or lacquer that is sprayed???? Love to see a pic when completed.

Thanks, Richard.

Ahhh you got me on the title. Knowing where you are I though this was going to be about bear cubs.

Nice job on the cubbies and TV enclosures. Sounds as though you have it down to a straight forward process.

Just a primer and latex paint. I don't paint them we have painters for that. Not a real good picture but in the back ground you see one that been painted. If you'd like a better picture let me know. ning-finishedbubbie-46459-93.jpg?width=7

The TV enclosures are to keep spit balls off the screens.

Thanks Richard...

Ace, here's a better picture of finished cubbies. By the way the painter use an oil based primer under the latex.  Click on the photo to enlarge it.
