How are you holding out with all the water back east and down south?

When I see the pictures of the floods and storms on TV,  I wonder how those folks are holding on.  Here in Colorado we have less than 2" total precip since the first of the year.

How are things in your area?

I'm in Northwest corner of Arkansas. Springdale AR as of Sunday night got 9 inches since Thursday. Have note heard how much we got Monday. Got some water in my garage / shop Saturday night but not enough to worry about it. Some places just north of us got more than we did. Lots of street, streams and area Corps of Engineer lake camp ground along with State Parks got flooded. Tuesday was cloudy no rain. Still they are calling for more. Some homes / businesses been flooded. Some death due to the weather and flooding. So far, in out lttle corner of the state we been lucky.

Indiana hasn't been spared at all.  Lots of rain and so far this year we have had 30 tornados.

We have had about 5" to 7" in the past couple of days. The ground is so soaked that we are having lots of trees down that are just blowing over and the whole root ball comes out of the ground. Several tornado's today and one more line to come through here around 4:00 pm. After that we should get a little bit of a break.

We had an eye witness report of one tornado splitting into two and going different directions about mid day today.

If its all the same to you Jon you can keep them south.  We've had our share up here.

Hope everyone is doing ok. More rain coming tomorrow up here , along with some snow mix.

A little bit of rain here but nothing much.
