Featured Replies

So okay it has been a few weeks since I posted a message about the weekend so it is time to see what is going on. We have had a weather week here and I am ready for a little shop time to clear my head.

I am hoping to get a little time in there this weekend and right now I am not sure which of the projects I will be working on, but I will let you all know.

So what about you, what are you working on in the shop this weekend. Please post pictures if you can even if it is progress pictures.

Out of the shop but workng on the old Bonneville.  Got a leaking fuel line. Ugh.

Just a 96.  It was the car I drive back and forth to work and now it get across town jaunts.  The rubber line at the pump is leaking probably at the O ring.

Must have been a quite weekend for the woodworkers of this site.

I did get a little bit of time in my shop.

Pictures to follow, but I got the small table glued up and ready for finish.

I got front, back and sides panels glued for another cedar chest.

So what about it, did you get any shop time this weekend.

How did this post get by me?

Woo Hoo, got the fuel line fixed!!!!!  Oh and I had to but a new battery too.

My wife and I were away Friday and Saturday (trip to San Diego to celebrate our 27th anniversary) and Sunday we were tied up at church and doing other things. Monday I bought a couple sheets of quality grade 1/2" baltic birch ply to make some kid's knock-down rocking chiars and then I paid the bills and did my online traffic school (had a red light ticket). Today I will get back into the shop to get some rocking chairs done so hopefully I can get a few sold so I can build more rocking chairs.Smile.gif

Missed  seeing this earlier.  Guess I was little too  busy.  I usually have something going on in my shop each week  plus honey do projects.

For the shop list. These are simple enough to do.

1.  Make a drawer and door for a cabinet for my Delta 6 inch jointer.

2.  Get back to finish making Scroll saw clock.  Parts are already cut, just need to finish cutting all those little holes.

3.  Need to make a new bird house to replace the 6 yr old one.  It about ready to fall apart.  But the birds don't seem to care if it is.

4.  Need to make a Cardinal Scroll saw wind chime for my wife.  Already made her a butterfly one.

5.   Need to make a scale drawing for the router table and make material list.

Honey do list.  Not quiet so simple.

1.  Need to repaint the outside of the house since wife had me to re-paint the screen patio last year in a different color.

2. Need to build a 10 ft x 10 ft storage shed and then tear down the old one.

3.  Need to re-stain the garden fence.  Last time it was done was about 4 yrs ago.

4.  Wife wants the pergola stain.  Built it about 5 years ago out of cedar.  So I would have to try clean it before staining.

5.  To take out a wall on existing pantry and make it about 18 inches wider.

Looks like I'm  busy this year. Oh boy.

Allen, I love the design on those chairs, I hope you get some time in the shop to work on them also. Make sure you post some pictures as you go along.

Thanks

Wow Wayne, you are going to be one busy person. You will certainly have something to post on Fridays when I make the call for what you are working on.

Keep us posted on the progress of each of these projects. You can also post progress reports in the appropriate forum as you work through the list.

Thanks for sharing your list with us.
